1.Analysis of teaching material:
This topic is very practical. It is useful for the students to communicate with others in their daily life. It¡¯s also helpful
for students to improve their speaking ability. This is the second period of unit 2. The first teaching period serves
as an introduction of a junior high school student¡¯s daily life. The main idea of this article was presented and some
reading skills have also been trained. In this period, students learn to talk about their own daily life by reading Sam¡¯s day at school as well as learning the words and phrases related to their daily life. It is acceptable to review what
has been learned in the last period and to transfer to the new target languages in this period. All the activities are
carried out around the topic of how to describe a student¡¯s daily life. 
2.Analysis of students:
Students of Grade Seven are familiar with their activities at school. They are interested in this topic as all the
students have their own daily life. They have mastered certain new expressions to talk about their school days and known the main idea of this article. So in this class, they will be given more chances to think, to discuss in groups
and to use the target languages to talk about their life at school in various situations which created by the teacher.

Show students a picture of Sam and let students talk about him.

To practise the target languages in order to get ready for the presentation of students¡¯ own life .
2.Audio-lingual method
Ask students to listen for the second part of the article and find out Sam¡¯s activities at different time.
Purpose:
To practise the sentence structure according to the time table. Input the target languages and improve
listening ability .
