Unit 2 The United Kingdom教学设计
一、教学目标
（1）强化略读、细读等阅读技能，训练通过寻找关键词、主题句等方式更快速并准确地确定文章的段落大意，理清文章的总体框架与脉络。
（2）使学生对英国发展有大致的了解，同时了解英国的地理位置，社会文化，历史发展等方面的知识。
（3）在小组合作互动中，增强学生的团队合作精神。 （4）培养学生自主学习的能力。 二、教学重点难点
1．教学重点：文章篇章结构的理解和把握。
2．教学难点：如何提高学生对文章的整体把控能力以及学生的逻辑思维能力是难点。 三、教学方式
1、本课采用导入—快速阅读—文本分析—语用分析—小组合作—课后作业六大板块构成的阅读教学模式，调动广大同学的学习积极性。
2、培养学生与老师、同学交流信息，交换看法，小组合作学习和自主探究学习。
3、采用多媒体课件作为主要的教学手段，同时，借助黑板、粉笔、多媒体等辅助手段开展教学活动。 四、教学过程 1、Lead-in
通过看文章题目，预测文章要讲述的内容；给学生看一则关于英国的新闻，引起学生阅读的兴趣，导入课文。 2、Fast-reading
快速略读文章，把握文章大意；同时对文章进行分成三部分，概括三部分的大意。 任务一 Skim the passage and find its main idea. What is the text mainly about?
A. How many countries consist of the United Kingdom? B. Explain how England is divided into three zones
C. The reason why London became the cultural capital of England.
D. A brief introduction to the UK about its foundation and development based on geography, history and culture, etc.
