【教材分析】
本单元的话题是派对，通过单元学习，促使学生掌握一般将来时be going to do sth及其一般疑问句、特殊疑问句的用法，并能把将来时的相关日常交际用语、词汇和语言结构有机结合起来，在一定的情境下谈论即将发生的事件。同时让学生了解参加聚会前要做的准备工作，并注意一些社交礼仪，特别是中西方派对的不同。为了使同学更好掌握本单元的句型和词汇，教师在教学过程中可尽量设计生活活泼并较为真实的情景引导学生理解和运用新话题和新知识。最终形成自己的文章，学会规划安排自己的派对活动。 【教学目标】 知识目标

【设计意图】Mike的端午节中国传统派对。学生通过关键词When? Where? What? Who?对派对进行提问。教师呈现端午派对信息卡，解读信息卡中的time, place, people, activities,出现板书，这些都是写作中必备的内容。同学再通过信息卡问答，所有的回答形成一篇文章。这是一篇简单的文本，复习一般将来时的结构，初步了解一篇文本应具备的要素，使学生做到心中有数。

【设计意图】教师通过对比两篇文章，得出写作要简洁扼要，需避免重复，优化句式。学生通过练习将两句话合为一句话，体会连词的重要性。重点讲解and，to，but的用法，同时补充first, next, then, finally, also, too, either,because...供同学使用。 5. 发挥想象，丰富细节

【设计意图】再通过对比两篇文章，得出形容词的重要性，需发挥想象，丰富细节。学生通过练习将一句话不断用形容词进行扩充，体会形容词的重要性。同时提供常用形容词happy, big, tired, wonderful...等供学生使用。 6. 结构清晰，篇章完整。
T: Each passage should have a beginning, a body, a ending and a title. In this passage, you can use some sentences like “We are going to have a party at...in... It is going to begin at... and end at...”as a beginning. “....is/are going to ...”as a body. “The party is going to be... We are going to...”as a ending.（板书）
【设计意图】仍然通过对比两篇文章，得出文章需结构清晰，篇章完整。学生通过分析第二篇文章的结构脉络，得出文章应具有标题、开头、正文、结尾。同时教师呈现句型，给出框架，供学生使用。 Step 3 Consolidation
