教学目标（Teaching aims）: 知识目标
1. 学生能够在图片的帮助下理解故事内容，复习巩固本单元重点语言。
2. 能够朗读故事，能够在教师的帮助下表演故事。 3. 教育学生在学习过程中要不懈努力不要放弃，熟能生巧（Practice makes perfect）。 能力目标
1. 提高学生综合运用英语知识的能力。 2. 提高学生任务阅读能力。 情感目标
1.在故事语境中，通过Zoom 专心刻苦练习并最终在不擅长的唱歌考试中得到音乐老师称赞的经历，让学生了解英语谚语“Practice makes perfect.”的深刻含义。 2.在母亲节来临之际让学生学会感恩母亲。 学情分析（Learning situation analysis）
对于小学五年级学生来说，他们已经有了一定的英语基础，经过一二年级的攀登英语的学习，三四年级的学习，大多数学生有一定的英语语言接受和表达能力，词汇量有一定的储备，能进
行简单的口语交流，对教师的课堂指令和体态语言己有相当好的反应。学生学习兴趣较浓，积极性较高，但也有少数学生对语言的认知能力不强，缺乏一定的学习能力，反应较迟缓有待进一步提高。
教学重点(Important point）: 1. 能读懂“Story time”部分的内容。 2. 完成设置的问题，并有感情的表演故事。 教学难点(Key point）:
学生英语听、说、读、写各项语言综合运用能力的提高。 教学准备(Teaching prepare）: PPT、headwear.
教学过程(Teaching procedures）: 一．Warm-up 1. Greetings.

(1) 教师设置关于第一幅图的问题，让学生带着问题观看视频听录音然后回答问题。 1.Watch and choose:

(2)设置第二至四幅图片的问题，让学生带着问题观看视频。完成图片所对应的问题和任务。 Let’s match

【设计意图】 让学生模仿视频中的语音、语调培养学生的语感。表演是学生最喜欢的环节，也是最能检验学生学习效果的方法。 六． Consolidation & Extension 1.A story of Don’Give Up. 2.Read with questions.
3.Design a card for your mother and write some sentences that what you have learned at last stick your cards on the black board .
