一、教材地位作用
本单元的中心话题是“英国文学”和“小说欣赏”，主要内容涉及英美著名小说家以及他们的代表作，以及对《傲慢与偏见》等小说的分析和欣赏等，语言技能和语言知识都是依据这一中心话题设计的。通过学习本单元，让学生对英文小说有了更多的了解，使学生能够欣赏英美文学，并学会分析小说中的人物角色，表达自己对小说中核心话题的的看法。
本课为该单元的第三个课时Using Language中的Reading and Speaking and Wrting环节，课文的阅读材料“The Proposal” From Pride and Prejudice是《傲慢与偏见》的节选，在该篇阅读中，学生将接触原汁原味的精彩对白，并通过人物对白和表情变化来揣摩人物的内心情感。
写的部分设计的练习是表达对达西或伊丽莎白的个人看法，分析达西或伊丽莎白的行为是否恰当的同时，发表自己对金钱和爱情的看法。 二、学情调查分析
虽然这是学生在高中阶段第一次接触有关英文小说的议论类写作，但由于教师提前安排学生观看了影片《傲慢与偏见》，所以学生对这节课要讨论的话题并不陌生。尽管如此，分析英文小说中的人物对学生来说还是有些遥远，很难对其中任何一个人作出简单判断。 三、教学目标 Knowledge aims:
1. 通过学生对课文的预习和课本剧的表演，确保学生读懂阅读材料；
2. 通过对作文学案的预习，学生能够基本掌握写作中需要运用到的结构、内容、语法、生词短语等。
Ability aims:
1. 通过让学生用现代语言改写剧本并现场表演达西向伊丽莎白求婚的片段，展示学生对作品的理解程度的同时，提升学生的语言运用能力；
2. 通过对写作话题的讨论和写作，提升学生的语言表达能力的同时，帮助学生提高写作能力。 Emotional aims:
1. 通过学生的课本剧表演、话题讨论结果展示和作文的展示，提高学生的英语学习自信心；
2. 通过对两个问题“伊丽莎白该不该拒绝达西先生”以及“达西先生要求伊丽莎白立马嫁给他是否合理”的讨论，引导学生分析小说人物性格特点的同时，启发学生思考金钱和爱情的关系，鼓励学生树立正确的金钱观和爱情观。 四、重点、难点
通过人物对白和表情变化来揣摩人物的内心情感
五、教学过程
Step 1. Greeting and lead-in (10mins) 主要教学任务:
现场表演达西向伊丽莎白求婚的片段。（学生提前用现代语言改写剧本） 设计意图：
1.通过现场表演达西向伊丽莎白求婚的片段，教师可检查学生对篇章的理解程度，为学生提供语言输出机会的同时，提升学生英语学习的自信心。 2.激发学生学习兴趣，建立轻松愉悦的课堂氛围。 师生之间的预设对话：
Teacher:Good Morning! Ladies and Gentlemen! Students: Good Morning! Miss Yang!
Teacher: Today, we are going to learn Using Language
Reading, Speaking and Writing of “The Proposal” From Pride And Prejudice. Look at the
word “The proposal”, which means 求婚 in Chinese, so today we will learn something very romantic. I bet you must be very interested in it.
students:(laughing and eager to know today’s learning content. )
Teacher: Look at the picture carefully. Tell me the truth, is this young man handsome? Is this young lady beautiful?
possible response of students:Yes!/No! Teacher: Who are they?

Is it wise for Elizabeth to refuse to marry Darcy? why? If you were Elizabeth, what would you do? Why?

Is it reasonable that Mr Darcy expects Elizabeth to agree at once? Why? If you were Mr Darcy, what would you do?

Which lady thinks it is wise for Elizabeth to refuse to marry Darcy? Why? If you were Elizabeth, what would you do? Student 1: One girl expresses her opinion.

（For girls）Is it wise for Elizabeth to refuse to marry Darcy? why? If you were Elizabeth, what would you do?
(For boys) Is it reasonable that Mr Darcy expects Elizabeth to agree at once? Why? If you were Mr Darcy, what would you do? 设计意图：
学生能够按照写作要求完成该篇作文。尽可能写出结构清晰，内容合情合理、合乎语言规范、书写工整的作文。 师生之间的预设对话：
Teacher: Now you are going to write down your opinion of Darcy or Elizabeth.
（For girls）Is it wise for Elizabeth to refuse to marry the richest man she has met? why? If you were Elizabeth, what would you do?
(For boys) Is it reasonable that Mr Darcy expects any girl he wants to marry to agree at once? Why? If you were Mr Darcy, what would you do? Make sure your writing has: clear structure reasonable content

Step4. Evaluation (10mins) 主要教学任务:
从结构清晰，内容合情合理、合乎语言规范、书写工整这四个方面评价学生的写作。 设计意图：
1.通过积极评价，树立学生的写作自信心。
2.帮助学生发现问题，并及时纠正，引导学生形成良好的写作习惯。 师生之间的预设对话：

Teacher: 在投影上直接画出结构，好词好句，连接词。 在右侧黑板上进行笑脸评价。 clear structure reasonable content

引导学生树立正确的金钱观，女生应该自强不息，独立自信；男生应该尊重女生，不能物化女生。

Today, you expressed your opinions on the topic of money and love. Now, it’s my turn to share my opnion.
What choice should we make between love and money? As girls, we should
marry out of love but not for wealth; be brave enough to choose the right person;

完善已有写作，让学生润色出结构清晰，内容合情合理、合乎语言规范、书写工整的作文。 六、教学反思
1. 这堂课是日常课堂的一个缩影，体现出了课堂的真实性。
2. 教学任务简单明确，分别是学生通过自己表演课本，小组讨论及讨论结果展示，预习作文学案并完成写作任务。三个教学任务由简到难，且三维教学目标被分层落实到了每个教学任务中，能够保证大多数学生基本完成教学目标。
3. 教师和学生通过对话的形式完成了课堂教学，课堂氛围轻松愉悦，学生在课堂上有话说，并且敢表达自己。
总而言之，整堂课教学效率高，学生思维活跃，气氛热烈。学生受益面大，不同程度的学生在原有基础上都有进步，有利于知识、能力、思想情感目标达成。 教师在授课过程需要改善的方面有以下几点：
1. 教态：教师应该时刻面向学生，不能背对学生。避免干巴巴地念PPT， 应该把PPT上的内容记在心里，以对话的形式直接提问学生，而不是给人一种“照本宣科”的僵化感；
2. 课堂容量略微有些大，让课堂有种“为完成任务而上课”的紧迫感，教师应该给课
堂适当留白，让师生都能从容自然地完成教学任务；
3. 教师在上课过程中，指令语有些冗长，这样会延长学生思考时间，且浪费课堂时间。教师用语应该简洁明了，避免长难句、指令明确、语速要适中。
