Unit 5 You’re supposed to shake hands.(第1课时)教学设计

一、课标解读:
本节课的课型为听说课,要求学生在听力输入的同时能对信息进行由简单到多层次的处理,听后能达到用正确的目标语言来完成语言输出和语言交流活动的目标。在学完本单元之后,学生将会正确运用be supposed /expected to的结构来谈论应该或被期望做某事。
二、教材分析:
本单元谈论的话题是customs。Section A围绕文化礼仪的话题展开,谈论不同国家在不同情境下的文化习俗,本节课为本单元Section A第一课时,课型为听说课。本部分的核心句型是supposed to do和被be expected to do,要求学生能够大致听懂描述有关国家文化礼仪的简单介绍,能够在听、读中获取相关信息,并能模仿输入的语言,针对各国风俗习惯进行询问及回答,恰当的进行语言输出。
三、教学目标
(一)知识目标
1. Help the students use these words and expressions correctly:
New words: custom bow kiss greet
2. Help the students to use the target language to correctly: 
---What are people in ...supposed to do when they meet for the first time?
--- They’re supposed/expected to ...
 () 能力目标
   Help the students to use the new words and target language to talk about the different customs in different countries.
(三)情感态度与文化意识:
    让学生了解各国文化背景、礼仪习俗,学会在不同场合的得体表现,提升跨文化意识。
四、重难点
重点:了解各国礼仪方面的差异,学会用be supposed to 和be
     expected to句式询问习俗。
难点:正确运用 be supposed to 和be expected to句式对他人提
       出合理、可行的建议。
五、教学方法
 情景教学法, 任务型教学法
七、评价设计:
1.教师的课堂语言评价。
2.利用controled, semi-controled practice, pair work、group work的交流展示活动等方式进行评价。

2.   From the video, we can see many greeting manners ,shaking hands, kissing,…and so on. And this is the first time we meet each other. How would you like to greet me? (ask Several Ss)So this girl, would you like to shake hands me? Would you like to hug me? Would you like to kiss me?
Step Two  Presentation
1.     Free Talk: what other greeting mannners do you know in the world?
2.     Words Learning: Learn some greeting manners
3.     Guessing Game
4.     Sentence Pattern presentation: Show a map ,以China为例,引出句型:
---what are people in China supposed to do when they meet for the first time?    ---They’re supposed to shake hands.
5.     Finish 1a:try to match the countries with customs

《Unit 5 You’re supposed to shake hands》第一课时教学反思
威海环翠国际中学 苗伟伟
本节课为初四英语unit5的第一课时听说课,现将本节课的课堂教学做一下教学反思:
一、本节课前半部分总体来说在课堂教学环节的设计上,符合听说课的模式,尊重了学生先进行听力输入再进行语言输出的过程。同时各教学环节之间衔接过渡比较自然。在是在后半部分的处理上不够好。当时考虑到初四的口语考试,我就大胆的把2d删掉了,改变了一段新的听力材料,让学生根据问题听并复述,从整体上来说有点不符合本节课的课型。
二、由于是异地授课,考虑到本班学生的学习接受能力,在课堂上我比较关注学生们的学习效果,并且在学生出错的时候,不断给他们进行纠正,并且放慢语速以便于他们能听懂。
三、由于过于担心哈子听不懂,我的语速较慢,整个课堂的节奏也慢了点,导致最后一个环节的小组活动没有进行完,课堂内容没有完成,所以预定教学目标没有完全实现。
四、由于课前准备的时间较短,而且教室里的音响设备出了问题,所以提前没有预放课件里的音频,导致上课时听力视频出现了一点问题,准备不够充分。
   总之,本节课我觉得上得不够成功,预定教学内容没有完成,教学目标没有实现,但是经过这次的经历,我的得到了历练,从中我也收获了很多。我会不断学习,不断改进。
