教材分析 本单元标题为What did you do last weekend?在前一个单元How was your school trip?的基础上继续谈论过去发生的事情，帮助学生进一步熟练使用一般过去时态。同时， 本节课是本单元的第二课时，围绕周末活动展开会话，帮助学生运用特殊疑问句的方式进行交流沟通，从而认识到如何更好地利用业余时光。
学情分析 本班学生英语基础较好，只是个别学生听说能力比较困难，接受过程需要一段时间。虽然学生们已经学习了一般过去时，能够利用一般过去时谈论过去发生的事情，但就本单元“周末活动”的话题还要进一步熟悉，对于 一般过去时的准确运用的能力还需要培高。
教学目标 1.知识与技能：
掌握新的会话并可以自编会话；
进一步复习巩固一般过去时；
熟练运用含有一般过去时的特殊疑问句
