教学目标
语言知识目标:
1) 能掌握以下单词和短语: housework, hardly, ever, always, usually, often, sometimes, never, once, twice, Internet, program,hardly ever, once a week, twice a month, three times a year.
2)能掌握以下句型:
a.— What do you do on weekends?   — I usually go camping.
b.—What does he do on weekends? —He often watches TV.   
c.—How often do you go to the movies? —I go to the movies once a month. 
d. —How often does she help with housework? —She helps with housework three times a week.    
3) 能了解以下语法:
   频度副词及一般现在时简单谈论周末活动情况以及做事情的频率。
2学情分析

通过本单元的学习,养成健康的饮食习惯,保证充足的睡眠时间,进行合理的运动锻炼,以保持健康的体魄。培养学生的逻辑表述能力,激发学生的积极思维,并使学生互相了解,增进友谊,加强人际交往,以形成良好的人际关系。 
 
3重点难点
1. 教学重点:
1) 对6个频度副词细微差异的理解及使用。
2) 弄清一般现在时在不同人称下动词形式及提问的变化。
2. 教学难点:
1) 第三人称单数谓语动词在核心句型中的运用。
2) 谈论课余时间的各项活动,以及初步认识和使用频率副词。
4教学过程
4.1
4.1.1教学活动
活动1【讲授】How often do you exercise 
Ⅰ. Warming up
Talk about teacher’s last weekend’s activities.
Ⅱ. Presentation
(1) 教师问:“What do you usually do on weekends ? ” 让学生根据自己的实际回答 I usually…on weekends.(用第一人称回答)
(2) 教师展示六张图片问:(用第三人称单数和复数回答)
   What does she usually do on weekends?
   She usually does homework./ she usually tries paragliding.
   What does he often do on weekends?
   He often reads books./ He often has hamburgers.
   What do they sometimes do on weekends?
   They sometimes go shopping./ They sometimes go to the movies.
Ⅲ. Work on 1a
Make a list of the weekend activities.  
exercise, climb the mountains, play computer games, do the dishes,
take a walk, help with housework, use the internet, go shopping
 Let students read these activities together.
Ⅳ. Work on 1c  
Act out the conversation with a student.
What do you do on weekends?
I often play soccer.
What does Alice do on weekends?
She often helps with housework.
2. Let students talk about the activities during their weekends in pairs.
3. Let some students act out their conversations.  
Ⅴ. Work on 1b
T: “ From the student’s conversation, we know that a boy usually exercises on weekends. But for me, I like exercising. But I don’t climb the mountains very often. I sometimes play badminton and I never swim. Now let’s learn some frequency words.’’(引出频率副词)
讲解三题中考链接。
Tell students to listen and write the activities next to the frequency words.
Play the tape twice and check the answers.
Ⅵ. Work on 2a, 2b
“From 1b, we can know that a girl likes reading books so much. For me I enjoy reading. I read book in the morning, in the afternoon and in the evening. I mean I read three times a day. How about next boy? How many times does he brush his teeth?”(引出次数的表达)
英语中次数的表达
how often 多久一次(询问事情发生的频率)
一次:once
两次:twice
其他次数表达:基数词+times
三次:three times
五次:five times
一百次:one hundred times
 次数后面与一段时间连用,表示动作多长时间发生几次,即动作发生的频率。
一小时一次:once an hour
一天两次:twice a day
一星期三次:three times a week
两个月五次:five times two months
三年十三次:thirteen times three years
3.Work on 2a. Tell students that Cheng Tao is talking about how often he does these activities. Listen for the first time. And number the activities [1-5].
Play the recording for the second time for the students to check the answers.
4. Work on 2b:
a. Tell students that they will hear the recording again. This time, listen and match the activities in 2a with how often Cheng Tao does them.
b. Check the answers
Ⅶ. Work on 2c
We have an interview.
“How often do you do these activities?”

Teacher asks 5 students to give an example. Then six students are in a group and choose one student as a reporter. He /she should ask the 5 students different questions and then give us a report.
Give students five minutes to prepare this interview.
Ask 4 groups of students to come to the front and show their interview.
Show students a teacher’s version and read it together.
VIII. Make a summary.
