教学目标
~【知识目标】1.通过本节课的学习,学生能够能谈论对不同类型的电视节目或电影的看法和偏好;2.能在各自不同爱好的基础上制订合理计划;3.能够正确使用重点词汇与词组;4.能体会并正确使用不定式作宾语。 
【技能目标】1.通过本节课的学习,学生能够学会陈述自己的看法并给出理由; 2.能够谈论自己意愿和打算。 
【策略目标】能正确使用形容词谈论对电视电影种类的喜好并说明理由,并就相关内容的谈论计划打算;能通过阅读了解小影评这一体裁,并能谈论自己对电影的看法。 
【情感目标】能够运用所学相关语言知识谈论影视节目。
2学情分析
~本单元的话题是学生相对熟悉的,并且在初一时学生已经学过如何就食品、学科及动物等表达喜好,对于喜好的功能表意都有了初步理解且具备一定的运用能力, 因此单元学习中不同种类电视电影及描述类词汇运用可作加强,以帮助学生更好地建构相对应的目标词汇。由于有了一定的基础,考虑到接下来第六和第七单元的一般将来时学习,因此在本单元的制订计划运用want to, plan to的同时可以渗透will甚至be going to的简单用法,以使下两单元和本单元的结构语言连成整体,做到语言内容和语言知识的循序递进和模块滚动,使学生在运用环节能水到渠成地输出。

~【教学重点】学生能正确使用形容词谈论对电视电影种类的喜好并说明理由,并就相关内容的谈论计划打算;能体会并正确使用不定式作宾语。 【教学难点】学生合理运用形容词来表达喜好和打算;正确使用不定式作宾语。

4.1.1新设计
~Step1: Warmers 1 Question: Do you like the song? / What do you think of the song? / What do you know about the movie? Enjoy and find out the topic: What do you think of…? 2 Brainstorm: Last period we talked about many different kinds of TV shows. Well, I would like you to have a brief revision. 【设计意图】热身环节教师首先通过英文歌曲激发学生对电影电视的感知,导入本课的话题和相关语言结构,并为接下来电影学习做好铺垫,同时提高英语学习的兴趣。其次让学生进行有关电视种类词汇的大脑风暴,帮助学生温故知新。 
Step 2: Presentation 1 A guessing game: What do my friends plan to watch tonight? 1) Miss Le plans to watch a soap opera. 2) Mr. Bao plans to watch a talk show. 3) Ms. Ke plans to want news. Ms. Ke wants to watch news because she hopes to find out what’s going on around the world. 2 Miss Chen’s preference I like to watch movies. What kind of movies do you know? 【设计意图】继续围绕电视种类话题,以老师朋友们对各类电视的看法引领学生从个人观点去猜测不同喜好,再以教师的个人爱好引出电影种类,其中强调复现动词不定式的使用,并在其中自然完成生词教学。以此更好地帮助学生把喜好的表达和原因的表述顺利结合起来,同时也拓展了语言的交际功能。 Grammar focus: 1. What do you plan to watch tonight? 2. I plan to watch news because I hope to find out what’s going on around the world.. Vocabulary study and recycling: enjoyable, serious, meaningful,meaningless; soap opera, action movie, cartoon; expect, find out, a good way to relax, follow the story and see what happens next (板书结构语句和单词) 
Step3: Pre-listening (Activity 1a) Task 1: Look and read Look at the pictures and read these TV shows and movies. Task 2: Choose and write What do you think of these TV shows and movies? Choose words from the box and write them under the pictures. Each picture can have more than one word. Task 3: Tell your preferences. I think talk shows are exciting, I love them. / I love talk shows because they are exciting. … 【设计意图】听前的任务设计旨在帮助学生处理听力材料中的部分单词和习惯用语,以减少听力的难度。
Step 4: While -listening (Activities 1b-1d) Task 1: Listen and circle (1b) T: John and Mary are talking about their preferences of TV shows and movies, listen to their conversation and circle the description words you hear in the box in 1a. Listen carefully and finish activity 1b, and, what’s more, if you can, try to finish 1c at the same time. You can see, activity 1a and 1c have some things in common. Task 2: Listen and write (1c) Listen again and write down the word John and Mary use to describe the TV shows or movies. Task3: Retell this conversation in your own words John and Mary are talking about their preferences of TV shows and movies… 【设计意图】在1a词汇理解的基础上进行听力活动。由于两个听力活动要求循序渐进相辅相成,因此鼓励学生尝试能把1b和1c结合同时完成,如有需要再播第二遍,或第二遍作为检查。紧接着让学生把对话以陈述句复述出来,要求学生把听力信息转换成语段信息,帮助学生再次使用表达个人喜好及理由的语言。 
Step5: Practice Group discussion and reporter. Task 1: In groups of four, students make a survey about what your classmates think of different kinds of TV shows. Task 2: Report the result of your discussion like this, In my group, Jim likes news, because he wants to find out what’s going on around the world. However, he can’t stand.... 【设计意图】教师借助调查结合讨论再次重现本单元的话题,进一步让学生熟悉目标语言结构及其语言功能。与上一任务链环环紧扣,尤其是小组讨论部分能将语言知识和语言意义紧密联系,以促进学生的语用能力,为接下来课时的教学设计打好基础。
Step 6: Instant feedback (课堂即时反馈卡) Fill in the blanks in the movie review. Use the words in the box to help you. to look after about to watch Enjoyable or to play surprise My favorite film is The Sound of Music. The movie is about Maria and the Von Trapp family.Maria was a happy girl, she loved singing and dancing. Then one day she went to look after_ the seven children in the family.Several years ago, their mother died. Captain Von Trapp loved his children, but he didn’t know what they like or thought. He told Maria to make them study hard. However, she took them out to play . But he was surprised to find that Maria made the family full of happiness. I believe that the best part of the film is the singing.It’s very beautiful and interesting. If you plan to watch a movie this weekend and you want to see something enjoyable, just choose it! 【设计意图】考虑填词完成短文来代替语法单项效果会更好,教师让学生通过填空形式对文本进行补全,借助文本让学生使用目标语法结构。
Homework: 
Oral: Listen, then read the tape script twice in 1b aloud and underline key points. Written: Level A: Finish WB P35 Ex 1 & 2. Level B: Finish the reporter about the survey.
