1. To detect and foster the students’ reading skills.
2. To get information from the reading material.

1. The students have just learnt the Attributive Clause, it will be easy for them to understand the passage. However, it will be difficult for them to describe photos by using the Attributive Clause.
2. The students will be interested in showing us their photos.
3重点难点
1. To let the students know something about photo competition.
2. To practise reading strategies, including taking notes and inferring.
3. To be able to write about photos by using Attributive Clause.

活动1【导入】step 1 Warm up

活动目标	教学内容	活动设计	媒体功能应用及分析
激发学生的学习兴趣	1). Show the students some photos. 2). Have the students talk about them.	欣赏照片描述照片选择照片	探照灯---在新课导入时，用探照灯逐步展示学生运动会的照片，学生猜测照片内容。应用电子白板，可以充分调动学生的学习兴趣，导入效果很好。

活动2【活动】Step 2 Playing a game

以竞赛的形式训练学生运用定于从句描述照片

Describe a photo by using Attributive
Clause.

小组竞赛描述一些图片

计时器---在游戏环节用计时器来计时，让学生来操作白板计时器。通过计时，创造一种紧张的氛围，增加学生竞争意识。
